Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in Los Angeles peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. I liked this place overall. Itβs really beautiful and cozy inside. I ordered eggs Benedict and a sandwich, and honestly, it felt more like something I could make at home than restaurant food. But bread itself so fresh and crispy! I also think itβs a little overpriced for what you get. $56 for iced latte, iced tea and 2 dishes. Their desserts look really beautiful though, and everything inside is clean and neat. For me, the main downside was that I just didnβt feel full after eating there.

Pitchoun! quickly became one of my favorite bakeries. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The beignet with custard was incredibly soft, fresh, and filled with the perfect amount of creamy custard. The twisted chocolate pastry was rich without being overly sweet, and the hazelnut cookies had an amazing flavor and texture. I also highly recommend the pistachio and chocolate cronutβcrispy on the outside, light on the inside, and packed with flavor. The pain aux raisins was another standout, perfectly baked and delicious with every bite. The coffee was excellent as well and paired perfectly with the pastries. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The seating area was comfortable, clean, and a great place to relax. Parking wasn't difficult eitherβwe were able to find street parking without any issues. I highly recommend Pitchoun! if you're looking for amazing pastries, great coffee, and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back to try even more from their menu.

Phenomenal pastries! Really enjoyed the bacon and egg focaccia - itβs a perfect breakfast! Even the little details like the seasoning on the egg are done exceptionally well. Pastries are well balanced and not too sweet. Coffee portion is generous as well! Really nice interior and I enjoyed the little wine shop next to the dining area.

Had breakfast and some pastries to try later. The lamination for the croissant of my breakfast sandwich was the glossiness of dreams. It was light as air and flaky as well. The beignet style pastry stuffed with pastry cream was my favorite. Like the best yeasty fried donut filled with a vanilla cream. Maybe the only quibble is it could have been stuffed a bit more. The strawberry croissant, I think the white chocolate filling overpowers the strawberry and probably could have done without it. Still very light, flaky, and I loved the jam. The cannelle was a bit dry and not my favorite. Cinnamon roll even te next day was still moist and the filling perfect. The cookies also maintained their moist chewiness into the next day. I do think they forgot to syrup my latte, but it was still a delight. Well worth a visit.

Outstanding. Everything was out of this world. Highly, highly, highly recommend. Donβt shy from the Scottish Eggs Benedict, absolutely delicious. Also the seasonal Cherry Blossom Latte was a treat. Aesthetics of the environment, the layout, view of the kitchen and park across the street, beautiful.
